Bed Bug Preparation Guide
Our easy and simple step by step guide for a comprehensive and effective preparation before a Bed Bug Extermination Treatment.
REMOVE BED LINENS & CLEAR OUT YOUR CLOSETS
Remove all bed linens from beds and store them in plastic bags for laundry treatment. You will also want to remove all items from your closet if you have located active Bed Bugs. Proceed to the step 2 with the items you can and seal up the rest until treatment is over.
HEAT WASH LAUNDRY TREATMENT
Anything that can be washed in high heat should be. Use the Hygea Natural Bed Bug 911 Laundry Treatment in your wash machine cycle.
REMOVE ALL THE CLUTTER
Empty all shelves and remove all the miscellaneous items from the nightstands, chest of drawers, dressers, etc. Put these items in a sealed container.
REMOVE DRAWERS FROM DRESSERS
Remove all drawers from dressers and night stands.
MOVE FURNITURE AWAY FROM WALLS
You will want to move furniture pieces away from the walls.
REMOVE WALL HANGINGS
You will want to remove all posters, pictures and wall hangings from the wall.
VACUUM CLEAN EVERYTHING
Vacuum will not only remove bed bugs but also clear the way to an unobstructed treatment of surfaces. You should vacuum mattresses, carpets, boxsprings, floorings, furniture. Remember to discard the contents in an outside receptacle.
